Emmanuel P. Maceda

Chairman, Asia Pacific, Bain & Company

Mr. Manny Maceda is Chairman of the Asia Pacific region and a member of the Global Operating Committee of Bain & Company. He originally joined Bain in 1988. Past roles include: leading Bain & Company's Capability Council, Performance Improvement Practice and Global Recruiting. He has been a member of the firm's Board of Directors and Nominating Committee.

Mr. Maceda's specializes in working with large corporate transformations involving strategy, reengineering, cost reduction, operational improvement and organizational effectiveness. He has worked with clients in financial services, industrial products, consumer products, retail, telecommunications, energy, technology and transportation. He has most recently led Bain support of large transformation programs at an Asian communications company, and a global semiconductor company.

Mr. Maceda holds a M.S. in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Bain he worked with E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and with Unocal Corporation.
