Tech/Telecommunications

Time: Sunday, March 9, 2008, 10:05 am - 11:20 am

Harvard Asia Business Conference 2008 will examine Asia's role in reshaping the world. Specifically, it will focus on the economic, political and social impact that Asia has on its neighbors. In the technology and telecommunication panel, we plan to invite panelist from Asia tech/telecom companies which have presence and successful stories both inside and outside of Asia. It is no surprise that Asia has experienced enormous economic growth in the past decade and now stands in the forefront of several leading technology and telecommunication fields, but what are the implications on other countries? Will this create a collaborative environment across the globe? What will be the Asia tech/telecom companies' role in the future? Is there any limit? How their expansion can be sustainable from a longer-term perspective?
