Charles M. Ormiston

Charles M. Ormiston is a partner of Bain & Company, with management responsibility for Bain’s operations in Southeast Asia. He also serves as an elected member of the firm’s twelve-person global management committee. In 2005, Mr. Ormiston co-led a comprehensive review of Bain & Company’s global strategy for the full partnership.

Mr. Ormiston works with senior executives on programmes of major strategic and organisational change. With fifteen year’s working experience in Asia, he is a widely acknowledged expert on the issues facing executives in the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr. Ormiston is the former global head of Bain’s merger integration practice area, tackling the strategic, operational, organisational and leadership issues facing both global and Asia-based clients.

A graduate with High Distinction of the Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar), Mr. Ormiston also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sentosa Development Corporation (where he serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee).

Mr. Ormiston has spent most of his life abroad, with residence in Asia, Canada, Latin America and Europe. He is now a permanent resident in Singapore.
